CUPE Local 3904 fought to obtain and maintain a reimbursement Health Fund for its members. Unit 2 members who are not covered by health benefits elsewhere are encouraged to submit a reimbursement Health Fund form for up to a maximum of $200 (effective Oct.1, 2015), together with original receipts, to Prosure Group Administrators. The Unit 2 Health Fund form can be found either in hard copy at the union office or on the union website at http://www.cupe3904.ca
Professional Development Funds
Unit 2 members are eligible to receive $250 once every three semesters as reimbursement for professional development expenses. Although receipts are not required to be submitted as part of the Unit 1 Professional Development Lottery form, members are required to keep their original receipts for seven years for CCRA purposes. The union encourages all Unit 2 members to submit a Unit 2 Professional Development Lottery form once every three semesters to take advantage of these funds.
