CURRENCY REPORT REMINDER FOR THOSE WITH FALL 2023 ONE TERM ONLY TEACHING

Currency Report Dates For Those Holding Part Time OR Reduced OR Full Sessional ONE TERM ONLY (Fall 2023) contracts who do not hold a Unit 1 contract with the university for Winter 2024 Term.

DUE: January 15, 2024, by 11:59pm

Many of you will find that your department now requires all returning applicants (Contract Lecturers who previously taught at TMU) to submit a copy of their last currency report as part of their application, together with their CV, teaching philosophy statement, student and peer teaching evaluations, and any other required application materials as outlined in the job posting by your department.

If you have questions regarding what is considered currency, please contact your department Chair/Director.  Your currency report submission goes directly to your department Chair/Director.  This is a requirement by the university under Article 17 in the Unit 1 collective agreement and in completion of your employment contract.

Here are the instructions as to how to access the online form:

Login to my.torontomu.ca

Click on APPS at the top of the page

Scroll down and click on Annual Report/CUPE 1 Currency Report

Click on the link highlighted in blue stating CUPE 1 Currency Report for Fall 2023

Follow the instructions

Make sure you submit your currency report no later than the due date.  This is a requirement and a condition of your employment contract for all Contract Lecturers by the employer (university).

You may also want to upload your CV and teaching philosophy statement (if you have one) at the end of the online form where it allows you to upload any additional materials that support your currency.  It is entirely up to your discretion during the pandemic whether or not you wish to include your FCS and peer assessments (if any) for Winter 2020, Fall 2020, Winter 2021, Fall 2021 and Winter 2022.  Please make sure you include at least three to five years of FCS scores in chronological order from most recent to least recent.  If you choose not to include the FCS from the pandemic, make sure you include your most recent FCS from Fall 2023 and Winter 2024 and your FCS from three to five years prior to the pandemic (Fall 2019 and before).
