This is a reminder that both the health benefit fund and general assistance fund are still open and can be claimed through November. The GAF closes November 30th.

UNIT 3 HEALTH BENEFIT FUND (HBF)

Claim process is available from February 1 to December 15, 2023

• Funds are available on a first-come-first-served basis; submit your claims early
• Maximum of $700 per calendar year & Maximum of 1 claim per calendar year
• All receipts must be dated from December 16, 2022 to December 15, 2023 (inclusive)
• Incomplete claims will be denied; click here to review a list of eligible expenses.

Eligibility:

• Unit 3 Lab Monitors, Graduate Assistants, and Teaching Assistants
• At least one contract appointment in the Winter 2023, Spring/Summer 2023, and/or Fall 2023 term(s)

Claim process is available from October 2 to November 30, 2023

• Funds available on a first-come-first-serve basis
• Up to $400 per calendar year 
• Apply for the GAF here: Unit 3 GAF form

Eligibility:

• Unit 3 Lab Monitors, Graduate Assistants, and Teaching Assistants
• At least one contract appointment in Fall 2023
